3 reasons to attend the 21st NSW Weeds Conference in 2021Jointly supported by the weeds societies of New South Wales and Victoria – weeds without boarders

1. SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

The NSW Weeds Conference is regarded as the premier event in NSW to discuss weeds and related vegetation and production issues. The conference is a biennially event conducted in partnership with a host council attracting up to 350 attendees from NSW and interstate.

2. RECOGNITION

Three awards are announced at the conference acknowledging the work of NSW government, NSW local government and community weeds professionals for their outstanding contribution towards protecting NSW from the impacts of weeds.
Category 1: The Buerckner Award – for outstanding contribution to the on-ground control of weeds in NSW. Local Government only.
Category 2: The Stephenson Award – for outstanding contribution to planning and managing weed management programs in NSW. Local Government only.
Category 3: The NSW Weed Industry Award – For outstanding contribution to weed management in NSW. Open to all weed professionals within NSW.

3. RETURN ON INVESTMENT

The ability to network, get training, stay at the cutting edge of weeds management will enable your organisation, people or business to invest efficiently and effectively to manage weeds and their impacts. Protecting agricultural product, environment and amenity.
